The Perfect Grilling Marinade

Cooking and eating outside is one of my favorite parts about summer. It can be so simple, easy, and delicious. This is my favorite go-to marinade — delicious for chicken, fish, and veggies.

Made with tamari instead of soy sauce, this marinade is naturally gluten-free. Skip the garlic or use garlic-infused olive oil to keep it low FODMAP — perfect for grilling season when you want simple, healing food that actually tastes incredible.

5 minutes + 1–24 hours marinating

Ingredients

  • Protein or veggies of choice (zucchini, bell pepper, and carrots are great for grilling)
  • ½ cup tamari
  • Drizzle of olive oil
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • Heavy pinch of salt

Instructions

    Whisk all marinade ingredients together.

    Add your protein or vegetables and marinate for 1–24 hours.
